Today, the InfoSecurity Product Guide publication released the finalist for their InfoSecurity Product Guide Excellence Awards and SMS PASSCODE® was listed as a finalist in the Multi, Single or Two-Factor Authentication Solution category. The nomination is based on our Version 6 releases that included the industry’s broadest end-to-end cloud authentication platform and the innovative location aware login process. The location aware security leverages our real-time session specific log-in process to detect the users location at the point of log-in and display this location information in the SMS text message. The location information could also be used to increase or decrease the level of strong authentication based on trusted location contextual information. You can learn more about this award nomination here.

A good partner of ours, Network Utilities (Systems) Ltd, in the United Kingdom (UK), recently did a very interesting “whiteboard” web seminar on SMS PASSCODE and our unique real-time capability. The session outlines very well how the solution works, the real-time and session specific aspects of our solution as well as the broad remote access system support of VPNs, Citrix, Microsoft, VDI and other solutions as well as our fallback options for users without a phone via our global delivery platform.
